Man struck, killed in Escambia County, Florida

According to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report, a 27-year-old Alabama woman was driving when she hit the 76-year-old man on U.S. 29 south of Henry Street. Officials said the man was standing in the travel lane when he was struck. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Officials said this is an ongoing investigation.
