Man recovering after crashing vehicle into an Omaha church

Omaha police are investigating a crash that left a man with fatal injuries just before 1 a.m. Saturday.OPD says the 68-year-old man left the roadway and drove into a pole on the side of the St. Pius X Catholic Church & St. Leo School building, just off of 69th St. and Blondo St. Medics took the man to Nebraska Medicine, where he was pronounced dead.An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
