Man hit and killed in Broad Street hit-and-run crash
A man is dead after being hit by a car Sunday night on Broad Street on Columbus’ East Side. The crash happened at 11:16 p.m. as a car was traveling eastbound on Broad Street, just east of Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road. The car struck the man who was attempting to cross the roadway. The car drove away after the collision. The man was struck by several additional cars, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
