Man from Southfield blamed for fatal motorcycle collision while intoxicated
A man from Southfield is facing charges after allegedly causing a fatal crash in September. The individual, identified as Paul Stuart Dickson, is accused of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he cut in front of a motorcyclist on Eight Mile in Southfield, resulting in a tragic collision that led to the death of the motorcyclist. According to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office, Dickson also had a suspended license at the time of the incident. Prosecutor Karen McDonald emphasized that such actions are not accidents but rather intentional decisions that put lives at risk. Dickson has been charged with operating under the influence causing death and is awaiting a court date.
