Man from forest area detained in Sacramento for deadly Long Beach car accident
A man from Woodland, aged 59, was taken into custody in Sacramento last week for his involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred in Long Beach in 2024. Long Beach Police reported that the suspect ran a red light and collided with the victim's vehicle on Dec. 26, 2024. He was subsequently booked into Long Beach City Jail on a $50,000 bail for hit-and-run causing death or injury.
