Man from Eagle Mountain, 34, identified as victim of car-pedestrian accident with UHP trooper
A man named Jack Wilcoxon, aged 34, from Eagle Mountain, has been identified as the individual who tragically lost his life in a collision involving a Utah Highway Patrol officer last week in Eagle Mountain. The incident took place at around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Mountain Road and Pole Canyon Boulevard, where a man and a woman were walking. The man was hit and fatally injured by the trooper, who was on duty but not responding to an emergency at the time. The woman and the trooper were unharmed in the accident. The Utah Department of Public Safety's Utah County Officer-Involved Critical Incident Protocol Team is conducting an investigation into the incident.
