Man dies following motorcycle crash on Route 1 in South Kingstown
A man has died following a motorcycle crash on Route 1 in South Kingstown on Tuesday night. The South Kingstown Police Department says it responded around 10:15 p.m. to the crash on Route 1 north near Torrey Road. There they found the motorcyclist, 28-year-old Michael D. Fletcher, who had died as a result of his injuries from the crash, the department said. The department believes speed was a factor and is asking for any witnesses to call 401-783-3321, ext. 5004.
