Man dead after crash involving pedestrian in the intersection of Bridge Road and Bennetts Creek Lane in Suffolk
SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A man is dead after a crash involving a pedestrian in the intersection of Bridge Road and Bennetts Creek Lane Saturday evening, according to the Suffolk Police Department. On April 25 at around 9:12 p.m., the department responded to the intersection of Bridge Road and Bennets Creeek Lane for an auto v pedestrian crash. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man in critical condition. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver stayed at the scene. The man later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. After the next of kin were notified, the man has been identified as Suffolk resident Aaron Geister, 40. The crash is under investigation.
