Man charged with DWI after crashing into Manlius building works as Onondaga County deputy

Update at 10 a.m. on 5-4-26: Deputy Bradley McGraw-Wixson has been suspended without pay, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office. They add he was off-duty at the time of the incident. SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The driver accused of drunkenly crashing into a dental office on Friday is a road patrol deputy for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, the agency confirms to NewsChannel 9. Manlius Police said Friday that 28-year-old Bradley McGraw-Wixson was charged with driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely, and speed not reasonable and prudent. McGraw-Wixson hit several signs before crashing into the building on 102 West Seneca Street, police said. That building is home to Manlius Dental Group. Officers were called to the crash at 3:45 a.m., Friday, May 1. McGraw-Wixson was arrested and released on appearance tickets. Police said McGraw-Wixson was not injured. The building had minor structural damage. The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office did not share an update on the deputies' job status.
