Man charged after woman killed in multi-vehicle crash in Greensboro on Freeman Mill Road at intersection of Coliseum Boulevard, police say
GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- A man was charged on Friday after a woman was killed and the passenger in the vehicle she was driving was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release. Around 4:05 p.m., officers were sent to the crash, which involved multiple vehicles. Police determined that Bryson Lomont Spruill, 25, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro north on Freeman Mill Road, and Brittany Dawn Jordan, 30, the driver of a Subaru Forester, was stopped on Freeman Mill Road at the intersection of Coliseum Boulevard for the traffic signal. The Chevrolet crashed into the back of the stationary Subaru, pushing it forward. Two more vehicles stopped ahead were then hit. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene, and her passenger was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Spruill has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and failure to reduce speed.
