Man accused of causing accident in Puyallup, WA that harmed family of four
A 21-year-old man faced multiple charges after allegedly causing a serious crash in Puyallup that left a toddler and three others critically injured. The suspect, Rex Graydon, reportedly tried to evade a traffic stop by running a red light and crashing into a family's SUV at an intersection. Graydon is accused of offenses like vehicular assault, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended license stemming from the incident on Dec. 21. Court documents highlight Graydon's erratic behavior during the stop, where he fled after saying he lost his ID. This evasive action led to the collision that caused severe injuries, including a child with a traumatic head injury and a pregnant woman needing an emergency C-section. A GoFundMe has been established to aid the affected family. Prosecutors noted Graydon's extensive history of traffic violations and suspensions, along with criminal charges. He remains in custody on $250,000 bail.
