Maine woman killed in crash on New Jersey Turnpike
A Maine woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that happened on the New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday.Gayle Valle-Blake, 72, of Cape Elizabeth, died as a result of the April 30 crash in Bergen County, according to the New Jersey State Police. Police said the crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. on the northbound side of the New Jersey Turnpike at mile marker 118.1 in Ridgefield Park Village.According to investigators, Valle-Blake was driving a Porsche that crashed into the back of a camper that was being towed by a Chevrolet pickup truck.Police said there were no other injuries reported at the scene.The crash remains under investigation and police did not disclose any additional information to Maine's Total Coverage on Monday.
