Ludington man found dead after overnight motorcycle crash in Mason County
MASON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A 37-year-old Ludington man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Mason County that investigators say may have happened hours before it was discovered. Emergency crews were called around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, to the area of Stiles and Marrison Roads in Riverton Township for a reported motorcycle crash. According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, first responders found the driver dead at the scene. Investigators believe the crash happened sometime overnight but was not discovered until the following afternoon. The victim has been identified as Richard Stepka of Ludington. The crash remains under investigation by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team.
