22-year-old man shot, crashes car en route to Macon hospital for treatment, BSO says
A man is in recovery after being shot and crashing his car into another en route to a Macon hospital on Saturday morning. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of First and Hemlock Street. Deputies learned that a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound was driving himself to Atrium Health Navicent when he collided with a black sedan.
