LIVE ON SCENE: Far West Side crash leaves one driver dead
SAN ANTONIO - A man was killed in a crash early Wednesday morning on the Far West Side. The accident happened just before 4:30 a.m. off Culebra Road near Stillwater Parkway. Police said two vehicles were traveling westbound when one of them lost control, struck a fence and slammed into a wall. One of the drivers suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was treated at the scene. Police have not released the identity of the man who died, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Culebra Road between Stillwater Parkway and Gas Road is expected to remain closed for several hours as investigators process the scene.
