Bessemer woman dies after single-vehicle crash on Hopewell Road
A 69-year-old Bessemer woman died after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office. The victim was identified as Debra Little Sellers of Bessemer. Authorities said Sellers was driving alone when her vehicle was involved in a crash in the 6900 block of Hopewell Road at about 6:45 a.m. on July 7. She was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where she was pronounced dead at 7:48 a.m. The Bessemer Police Department is investigating what caused the crash.
