Lee County, MS officer involved in deadly collision
A tragic incident occurred in Lee County, Mississippi, as a deputy, identified as Deputy Rick Haggard, age 52 and a school resource officer, was fatally struck in a crash on Monday. The Lee County Sheriff's Department reported that the accident took place around 3 p.m. in front of Shannon Elementary School. Sheriff Jim H. Johnson revealed that the Mississippi Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Shannon Police Department, will be conducting an investigation into the case.
