Late-night crash on Dillard Loop leaves driver dead near Pleasant Hill
A crash Thursday night left a Creswell man dead, the Lane County Sheriff's Office said. Around 10 p.m. on May 21, Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the 32000 block of Dillard Loop. The caller reported finding a vehicle crashed into a tree and the driver was not responsive. Personnel from Pleasant Hill Fire, Goshen Fire and South Lane Fire all responded. The driver was extricated and transported by ambulance to a local area hospital. The driver, identified as 49-year-old Isaac Richard Aanrud of Creswell, did not survive, police said. Deputies investigated the crash scene and there is no further information at this time, the report stated.
