Lanes of Interstate 10 near Mississippi state line reopened after fatal crash
SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A fatal crash left parts of the interstate shut down near the Louisiana and Mississippi state line Friday morning, May 22. According to the Louisiana State Police, multiple crashes happened along the east bound lanes of Interstate 10 near Slidell with one being fatal. It is unknown what caused the crash but emergency crews are on scene investigating the matter. Lanes have since reopened but due to backed up traffic, drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route for their morning commute. This is a developing story.
