Lane restrictions in place along Parkway North after multi-vehicle crash
Emergency responders were on the scene along part of I-279 (Parkway North) on Tuesday following a crash involving at least three vehicles in Allegheny County. Sky 4, Pittsburgh's only news chopper, flew over the scene near Exit 8 (Camp Horne Road) around 4:50 p.m., where at least two vehicles sustained signifigant damage. At least one person was seen being put into the back of an ambulance and taken to the hospital from the area. It is unclear what led to the crash. As of 5:30 p.m., the crash was cleared, and traffic was seen moving slowly in both lanes. Pittsburgh's Action News 4 will provide new updates as they are made available.
