Lancaster County coroner IDs convertible driver killed in crash with tractor-trailer, police say

A Berks County man is dead after a convertible and a tractor-trailer collided in Lancaster County on Thursday, according to the East Cocalico Township Police Department. Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle wreck in the 2300 block of North Reading Road/Route 272 at 4:43 p.m. According to police, the driver and sole occupant of the two-door convertible was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner identified the victim as Michael Paul, 54, of Shillington. It's unclear if the tractor-trailer driver was injured. North Reading Road was shut down for an extended time while the Lancaster County Crash Team conducted an investigation.
