KSP: One dead after fatal two-vehicle collision in Bullitt County
Police are investigating a crash in Bullitt County that killed one and left another uninjured.Kentucky State Police were called out to the intersection of Kentucky State Road 44 East and Watergate Drive shortly after 7:30 p.m. on reports of a fatal collision.Investigation reports that a juvenile was driving a truck when the passenger-side tires left the roadway and dropped onto a steep shoulder. The juvenile reportedly overcorrected and swerved into oncoming traffic. The truck collided with an SUV head-on, causing the SUV to leave the roadway, go down an embankment, and flip onto its roof. The driver of the SUV, 27-year-old Sarah Weisman, was pronounced dead on the scene. The juvenile driver was uninjured. The investigation remains ongoing, and it is not clear at this time if charges are expected for the juvenile driver.
