Investigation underway into fatal incident at Greenville Steel by MIOSHA and State Police
The tragic workplace accident at Greenville Steel resulting in the death of 26-year-old Daniel Evans is currently being investigated by the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post. The incident occurred on Saturday morning involving a rollback flatbed truck while Evans and another worker were delivering a scrapped forklift. Unfortunately, Evans was caught between the truck's cab and flatbed leading to his untimely passing. Both MIOSHA and MSP are jointly investigating the matter, with J&A Towing of Belding owning the flatbed involved. Greenville Steel was not part of the unloading process.
