Investigation underway into fatal head-on collision in Clarksville
Authorities are currently investigating a tragic car accident that occurred in Clarksville on Friday evening. The incident, which took place on 101st Airborne Division Parkway between Peachers Mill Road and the West Fork Bridge, involved a head-on collision between two vehicles. Initial reports suggest that a vehicle traveling westbound veered into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with an eastbound vehicle. Tragically, a front-seat female passenger in the eastbound vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the westbound vehicle, a female, was taken to Tennova Healthcare for minor injuries. The female driver of the eastbound vehicle and a juvenile passenger in the backseat were airlifted to hospitals in Nashville and are currently in stable condition.
