Investigation underway after Bath County dozer accident kills man
OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Bath County Coroner’s Office is investigating a deadly accident involving heavy equipment that occurred Saturday morning. The coroner was dispatched at 8:55 a.m. May 9 to Stevens Road in Owingsville after reports of a dozer that had overturned. Officials said 62-year-old Douglas Wells of Sharpsburg was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by the Bath County Coroner's Office and Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead.
