Investigation launched after deadly hit-and-run involving e-scooter in St. Cloud
A fatal accident involving an electric scooter caused the temporary closure of the southbound lanes of Old Canoe Creek Road near Nolte Road late Friday, stated the St. Cloud Police Department. Law enforcement officials are asking for assistance in the investigation of this tragic event, which is being treated as a hit-and-run case. The St. Cloud PD is encouraging anyone who may have details about the incident, in which a man lost his life while using an e-scooter on Old Canoe Creek Road north of Clay Whaley Road, to get in touch with them at 407-891-6700.
