Investigation into fatal e-bike collision in St. Petersburg

A serious accident involving an electric bicycle is currently being investigated in St. Petersburg. The incident took place on 66th Street South around 8 p.m. when a Ford Focus driving southbound collided with a 46-year-old man riding an e-bike who was traveling west across 66th St. N. The man on the e-bike was not using the designated crosswalk and failed to follow the traffic signal.
