Injuries reported in accident south of Normangee
CENTRAL TEXAS (FOX 44) - Multiple injuries have been reported in a multi-vehicle accident south of Normangee. The North Zulch Volunteer Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle accident on FM-39, just south of Old San Antonio Road, on Wednesday morning. Normangee Fire/Rescue, the Madison County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to the scene. According to the North Zulch Volunteer Fire Department, multiple people received minor or minimal injuries. One male driver was ejected at low speed and was transported by Jewett Emergency Medical Service to a Bryan-College Station hospital. The driver is reported to have sustained serious injuries. The incident has since cleared and roads have reopened. This is a developing story. FOX 44 News will have more information as it becomes available.
