IDENTIFIED: Tulare County man crushed by tractor
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man who died after being crushed by a tractor in rural Tulare County has been identified by the Tulare County Sheriff's Office on Sunday. Just before 2 p.m. Saturday, YourCentralValley.com responded to the area of Road 64 and Avenue 384 in Dinuba, where deputies said they received a report of a man who was run over by a tractor. Responding deputies reported the man, identified as 60-year-old Ernest Torres, was attempting to pull out a small tree with a chain on the tractor when it flipped over and landed on him. Despite life-saving efforts, the sheriff's office said he died on scene. Deputies add family was on scene as this happened in the yard next to the home.
