Identification of victim in deadly suspected DUI collision in San Marcos
Authorities in San Marcos, California have identified the victim of a fatal traffic accident that occurred over the weekend involving a suspected drunk driver. The victim, Benjamin Lo Cicero, 34, was hit by a Ford F-150 on Saturday night on West San Marcos Boulevard. Despite efforts from deputies and paramedics, Lo Cicero was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, Daniel Vega, 54, was arrested for DUI as he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The investigation is still ongoing, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Jeremy Collis.
