Identification of victim in deadly crash on Temple Airport Road
In an update on the fatal crash that occurred on Airport Road in Temple, the victim has been identified as Cynthia Stanford, a 62-year-old individual. The Temple Police Department responded to the accident on Monday afternoon and found a white SUV had rolled over near Highway 317 and Airport Road. The area was temporarily closed for crews to investigate the incident. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 317, veered off the road near Airport Road, and overturned in a ditch. Unfortunately, Cynthia Stanford was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries have been reported. Temple PD's Traffic Unit is conducting an investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Temple Police Department or the Bell County Crime Stoppers.
