Identification of elderly man in fatal crash on Wednesday
A 77-year-old man from Grand Junction tragically passed away in a fatal accident on Wednesday morning when he veered off the road and crashed into a dental office. The Mesa County Coroner's Office identified the driver as Russell Denbleyker, who succumbed to his injuries as per his autopsy report. The incident occurred at around 6 a.m. on 2687 Patterson Road near 12th Street. Authorities revealed that Denbleyker experienced a medical emergency before the accident. Despite immediate efforts to save his life, Denbleyker was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, no individuals inside the dental office were harmed.
