Identification of driver in fatal South California crash involving airborne Tesla.

On Wednesday, authorities identified the 37-year-old Huntington Beach resident, Ryan Mark Larson, as the driver of the Tesla Model 3 that caused a deadly multi-vehicle crash in the area. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, involved Larson losing control of the speeding car, resulting in it colliding with multiple vehicles before rolling over several times and coming to a halt. Larson was the lone fatality. One emotional video captured a father checking on his son in a minivan that was also damaged in the crash. The Tesla was reported to be traveling at a high speed, with witnesses estimating it to be around 100 mph. Three individuals were taken to the hospital, including two Orange County probation officers who were confirmed to be recovering. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with uncertainty whether drugs, alcohol, or Tesla's Autopilot or Full Self-Driving features were involved. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the Police Department to provide any information relating to the incident.
