I-69 reopens near Noblesville after semi crash

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. – A crash involving a semi closed part of I-69 in Hamilton County for more than two hours Wednesday morning. This happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. on southbound I-69 between Indiana 38 and Old Indiana 238 (mile markers 212 and 214.6) near Noblesville. According to an alert from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash involved an overturned semi trailer and a second vehicle. All southbound lanes closed as a result. Indiana State Police indicated the incident included entrapment and a diesel spill. The entrapped driver of the semi was extricated from the vehicle, ISP said. There were no reports of serious injuries. Traffic was diverted to State Road 13 (exit 214). All lanes reopened around 6:45 a.m., according to INDOT. The crash remains under investigation.
