Holyoke crash knocks down traffic light, resulting in injuries
HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A traffic light has been knocked down and injuries were reported following a motor vehicle accident in Holyoke Monday afternoon. Holyoke Fire Captain David Rex stated that a crash that took place in the area of Main Street and Jackson Street resulted in a traffic light being knocked down. All individuals injured in the accident have been brought to the hospital to be treated. Drivers are urged to avoid the area, as Captain Rex stated that repairs are expected to take several hours and traffic will likely be congested. The cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
