Helicopters search for injured paraglider after Provo Canyon crash
Helicopters were called to search for a man who crashed while paragliding in Provo Canyon near the base of Mount Timpanogos on the canyon's north side, according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office. Officials said the man was injured, but the extent of his injuries was unknown. At 8:45 p.m., officials said they found the man “in fairly steep and treacherous terrain, so our rescuers are still working on getting him off the mountain."
