Guard rail smashes top of car during Lancaster County crash

A guard rail smashed the top of a car during a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Lancaster County. Garden Spot Fire Rescue was dispatched to East Earl Road in East Earl Township, alongside New Holland EMS, for a crash with reported injuries. Reports also suggested that someone was possibly trapped inside the vehicle. At the scene, emergency crews found a car had smashed into a guardrail, but no one was trapped inside the vehicle. The guardrail was found resting on top of the vehicle, according to a picture taken from the scene. One person was evaluated by EMS at the scene.
