Fuel tanker crash sends two to hospital, Route 150 reopened
UPDATE as of 3:30 p.m. : CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- More details were provided surrounding a crash that closed down a section of road in the area of North Eagle Valley Road. The crash occurred after an SUV turned left in front of a fuel oil tanker hauling 1,000 gallons of home heating oil, according to State Police. The tanker truck overturned, with most of the oil then spilling from the truck. Both drivers were air-lifted to the hospital, with the SUV driver reportedly suffering from serious injuries. The tanker driver suffered moderate injuries. CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A crash has closed down a section of road in the area of North Eagle Valley Road near I-80.
