Four injured in ATV crash on Tekoa Mountain in Russell
RUSSELL, Mass. (WWLP) - Four people were injured in an ATV crash on Tekoa Mountain in Russell Saturday night. Russell Fire Chief Derek Daudelin told 22News that at approximately 10:27 p.m., crews received a report of an ATV accident on the Tekoa Mountain trails near the CSX tracks. Two individuals with severe injuries were flown to Baystate Medical Center via LifeStar helicopter, and two others were brought by ambulance. The Westfield Fire Department, Hilltown Ambulance, Massachusetts State Police, and Russell Police Department provided assistance. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
