Fatal crash on Will Rogers Turnpike claims life of truck driver
OTTAWA COUNTY - The cause of an early morning crash that left an Indiana truck driver dead is under investigation, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed on Sunday. The patrol reported Alejandro Martinez, 53, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died in the crash. The crash happened on the Will Rogers Turnpike in the westbound lane at mile marker 315. The 2:34 a.m. crash closed both east and westbound lanes for almost five hours. Angel Ferrer-Delgado, 21, of Brandon, Florida, was the driver of the second commercial vehicle. The patrol reported he was injured in the crash.
