Fort Smith man killed after car crashes into building Sunday night
FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A 30-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash late Sunday night in Fort Smith, according to state police. The crash happened around 10:57 p.m. on April 5 at the intersection of North 11th Street and Grand Avenue, according to an Arkansas State Police (ASP) fatal crash report. The report states Brian Rodriquez, 30, of Fort Smith, died after his 1997 Chevrolet left the road and struck a building on North 11th Street. No other injuries were reported. The ASP trooper on scene said the weather was clear and roads were dry. The crash remains under investigation.
