Fort Pierce police investigate fatal collision involving bicyclist and truck
Video above: News and weather for Monday, May 11, 2026The Fort Pierce Police Department is investigating a deadly collision.The police department said on Sunday at 11:53 a.m., its officers responded to a traffic crash involving a truck and a bicyclist near Orange Avenue and South 24th Street.When officers arrived at the scene, a 49-year-old Fort Pierce man on a bicycle was found suffering from serious injuries.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WPBF 25 NewsThe man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.An initial report by the police department determined that the bicyclist entered the path of a truck that was driven by a woman.
