Father killed in Sacramento pedestrian accident mourned by family
The man who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run collision on Sunday evening has been identified as Bee Lao, a 46-year-old resident of Sacramento. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Del Paso and Marysville Boulevard. Sadly, upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Lao, a pedestrian, lying on the road. Despite efforts to save him, Lao was pronounced deceased at the scene. Lao's wife, Stella Xiong, has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses and family support. Xiong mentioned that Lao, a beloved individual known for his kindness, leaves behind four daughters aged 5 to 14, as well as a 2-year-old son.
