A father and son from Orange County recently survived a serious multi-car accident in Huntington Beach, where tragically one man lost his life and three others were hospitalized. Relaying his experience, Mark Ahrens shared his gratefulness for being alive but mentioned how the incident would stay with him every time he sits behind the wheel. The collision occurred at the intersection of Heil Avenue and Goldenwest Street, as noted by the Huntington Beach Police Department. Reports suggest that a gray Tesla Model 3 lost control at high speed, causing a chain reaction that involved at least seven vehicles, including Ahrens' minivan. Ahrens recalled singing Christmas carols with his son just before the crash. Luckily, bystanders quickly helped them out of their minivan before they were rushed to the hospital for assessment. Ahrens, despite some cuts, expressed his appreciation for his life and hoped for a long and safe future for both himself and his son.
