Father in Indianapolis Faces Threat Charges While on Bond for Deadly Collision

Court records have shown that a Kentucky State University student's father was arrested on new charges while already out on bond in relation to a previous fatal crash case. The father, De’Jon Fox Sr., along with his partner Chardnae Cleveland, were charged with felony intimidation for allegedly making threatening comments online towards Jacob Bard, the man who shot their son. Prosecutors claimed that Fox Sr. was involved in a deadly crash case from last year, where he faced charges including driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and leaving the scene of a fatal crash. Following his recent arrest in Vanderburgh County, Indiana moved to revoke his bond in the crash case, with a warrant being issued for his arrest on the same day. The court documents detailed threats made by Fox on social media towards Bard, along with menacing comments by Cleveland. Fox Sr.'s jury trial for the hit-and-run case in Indianapolis is scheduled for January 12, 2026, while the intimidation case is still ongoing.
