Fatality reported in Murfreesboro crash on I-24 exit ramp
A man in Murfreesboro tragically passed away on Sunday after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 24. This was the second fatal crash in the area that weekend. The Tennessee Highway Patrol stated that the driver, 21-year-old Joseph Morgan, was operating a Lexus ES3 in the far right lane heading east on I-24. Morgan's vehicle crossed a gore divider near mile marker 78, then veered onto an exit ramp before eventually colliding with a tree on the right side of the road. Morgan, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries. Several other accidents were also reported in Murfreesboro that day, but further details were not immediately available.
