Fatal Tuesday Afternoon Crash Involving RideKC Bus and Motorcyclist
A tragic incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist who was struck by a RideKC bus. The bus failed to stop at a stop sign at East 9th Street and The Paseo, according to the Kansas City Police Department. The collision occurred at about 1 p.m., with the bus traveling west on 9th and the motorcyclist heading south on Paseo. Sadly, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the hospital shortly after the accident. The bus driver and passengers were unharmed. This marks the fourth fatal traffic incident in KCMO this year, compared to two incidents at this time last year.
