Fatal school bus crash injures 17 students near Ephraim
A tragic incident occurred when a pickup truck collided with two school buses near Ephraim, resulting in one fatality and injuring 18 others. The buses were part of Wasatch Academy, a boarding school in Mt. Pleasant. The accident, which took place on US-89, involved a southbound drifting pickup truck impacting two northbound buses carrying a total of 36 students and two drivers. The first bus was grazed, but the second bus was struck head-on, leading to the fatality of the truck driver. Following the crash, the students and bus driver from the second bus were taken to a nearby hospital, with two in critical condition. Authorities suspect fatigued driving as the reason for the collision. The city of Mt.
