Fatal rollover crash in Middleton investigated by Idaho State Police
The Idaho State Police are currently investigating a deadly single-vehicle accident that occurred late Wednesday night just south of Middleton. The incident took place on Middleton Road south of Bass Lane at around 9:45 p.m. A 22-year-old man from Middleton was driving a white 1989 Ford F-250 northbound when the vehicle veered off the road into an irrigation ditch, causing it to overturn and hit a power pole. Sadly, the driver passed away from his injuries after being transported to a local hospital by ambulance. It's worth noting that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Traffic in both directions on Middleton Road was disrupted for about three hours while the area was cleared.
