Fatal PSTA Bus Crash Claims Life of Clearwater Woman: Florida Highway Patrol
A tragedy occurred in Clearwater as a woman lost her life in a collision with a PSTA passenger bus over the weekend. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a Pinellas Park man, aged 38, was driving the bus and made a turn in front of a Nissan Armada, resulting in the accident. The FHP indicated that the bus had a red light when the collision happened. The Nissan was driven by a Clearwater man, 57, and both drivers sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Unfortunately, the passenger in the Nissan sustained serious injuries and passed away at the hospital. The incident occurred at the junction of Roosevelt Boulevard and Lake Carillon Drive. Names of the individuals involved were not disclosed by the FHP as an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
